This performance was the farewell concert for Maestro Carroll, who retires following 35 years as Music Director and Conductor of the CCWS
Featuring Broadway star Marcus Lovett, whose credits include the title role in Phantom of the Opera and others, and appearances in As The World Turns and as the voice of Good Morning America
Closing this 35th season was, in conductor Duane Carroll’s own words, “one of the greatest works ever written for symphonic band” – James Barnes’ Symphony No. 3
