This concert marked the Contra Costa Wind Symphony’s return to live performance after its 18-month hiatus due to COVID-19.
We were excited to have Dr. Mark Almond soloing with us. In addition to being associate principal horn with the San Francisco Symphony, he is an experienced hospital physician and holds a PhD in immunology and virology. He currently is researching COVID-19 as a Post-Doctoral Research Scholar at UCSF.
